In efforts to help Persians and Himalayans that are not at our rescue, our web site also features cats that are located in shelters in Northern California, Southern California and Nevada. In addition, we cross post cats that are at other rescues. All of the shelter cats we post may also be found on Petharbor.com , which is a site dedicated to placing shelter cats. Petfinder is another excellent resource for finding adoptable cats. Please check these resources because many wonderful Persian and Himalayan shelter cats are in danger. Kenny-Neutered Male ~3 y/o White Persian
Kenny is a super sweet, playful and loving cat. He’s full of personality and handsome to boot. Now, Kenny is looking for a VERY special home, preferably where he can be the center of your world. He's perfect in every way, except that he gets irritated eyes, so needs a very loving person who can give him eyedrops twice a day (the better to gaze at you with!). Cleo's not a Persian, but she's extended family, as British Shorthairs are loosely related to Exotic Shorthairs, so it's like a family reunion having her back! Cinderella, aka Cindy - Spayed Female 4-6 y/o Blue Cream Van Persian
Little Cinderella is the not-so-ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan. Cindy has beautiful copper eyes and is growing in an incredible coat with amazing unique markings. She has a sweet, gentle personality. This little girl gets along with pretty much everyone -- what a love. To quote her foster mother: "Cindy is just a good hearted active happy girl. Sophie (the new) - Spayed Female 5 yo Shaded Blue/Cream Persian
"There's something about Sophie".That's pretty much been the consensus of those of us who've met her so far in Rescue. She's such an old soul. When you meet her you feel as if you're meeting a long lost friend, the love of your life who's past over
the Rainbow Bridge long ago. It's hard to say what quality she has that makes this so, but many of us have mentioned it. Sophie is a sweet angel who's been through a lot. She has a very rare coat color and will be just gorgeous once her coat comes in fully. She will be fine as an only cat, but would do equally well with other cats in the home. Ozzy - Neutered Male 10 mos. old Grey Persian
This teddy bear of a cat is looking for a bit quieter situation right now. He's discovering that where he's been till now, in a home with very small children, is not really for him.
