What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Our only data collection comes from application forms, which are printed and stored in a secure filing cabinet. The forms collect applicants’ contact information and pet guardianship history, as well as veterinarian name and references.
Paper checks that come to us for donations or adoption fees are either deposited at the bank or, if via mobile deposit, shredded within one week of deposit.
We never share your personal data with anyone, unless it is necessary during the process of placing a cat, for example to facilitate contact between a cat’s owner or foster carer and a potential adopter.
