Boston Charlie - Neutered Male 2-4 y/o Black and White Persian

Boston Charlie is a big name for a little scrap of a kitty, all 7 pounds of him. A kind couple picked him up at an elementary school thin, ill. filthy, un-neutered, and lonely and lost. Medicated, neutered, vaccinated and cleaned up (shaved fur is still growing back), he would have had a home except the couple's 6-year old son played REALLY rough with him. Charlie was  too obliging and too needy for love to keep his distance from the child so the couple cared enough to bring him back into rescue.
Obliging is the right word for him. All he wants is human company.  He'll sit at your feet, follow you around, sleep in your lap. He places a front paw on you to hold you. He is utterly appealing. Not  skittish or hyper, he is the essence of mellow and easy going. "Hey  I'm no problem. I just want to be right here next to you, safe and  loved."
He does have a tiny nose and struggles to breathe thru it some times. He would benefit from the little surgery  to open his breathing passages which helps so many
Persians.  He is okay with other cats but they must be good to him. They may be  competitive with him for his human's lap. He would be fine also as an only cat as long as his human family wasn't gone too much. He is happy to stay inside. Eats everything. Is perfect with his litter box.  He's a cool dude kind of a guy and can handle anyone and any animal  kind to him.  He will grab your heart and be your devoted friend.
Fostered in Santa Cruz.  Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or
toharrietjane@comcast.net.

Heidi - Spayed Female 5-7 y/o Tortie Point Himalayan
Hi my name is Heidi. Not too much is known about me as I was found as a stray. I am very chatty when I am being petted. I would prefer to be an only pet because am special and I deserve humans of my own.  I am a great eater and not picky about my food. I am wonderful with the litter box and never have any accidents. Fostered with Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue.  Call Cyndi @ (707)301-RESQ or email
info@purebredsplus.org.

Gino - Neutered Male 4-5 y/o Blue Persian
Gino was adopted from us 3-4 years ago. The man who adopted him has fallen on hard times and has had return him. This nice boy has handled the move with great aplomb and settled right into his foster home for some fun and games. Gino is a hoot. He's a playful boy, and a big loving lump of a cat. He has quite the charming personality and also very affectionate.  He would be great as an only cat or
with a confident playful female. Fostered in Vacaville by Purebreds Plus Cat RescueCall Jennifer at (770) 301-6540 or email her at ppcr_jen@yahoo.com.

Tristen - Neutered Male Blue Persian Mix

ADOPTED!!  This absolutely darling boy lost his home when his family lost theirs.  The poor kitty is really scared at the shelter, and we need to get him to a loving home quickly, please!  Tristen can be found at Nine Lives Foundation, located at 1255 Annette Avenue, Redwood City, CA. E-mail Georgia at gpostlewait@voconline.com for info.

Monica - Spayed Female 3-5 y/o Silver Shaded Persian
Monica is a lovely gentle cat. She is used to young children but prefers a home with gentle teens or adults. She might be OK with a quiet dog. Her ideal environment would be as an only cat, although she currently tolerates her other feline roommate. Monica is completely vetted, vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV and has had a sonigram. Fostered in Sacramento by Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue .  Email Info@purebredsplus.org or call Cyndi at (707) 301-RESQ .

Minka (was Hacienda) - Female Lynx Point Himalayan Mix
2 beautiful names for one beautiful girl!  Nine Lives says, "Hacienda is one fun-loving cat, affectionate, purr bug of a kitty. Not only does she look like a kitten, she acts very much like one. Our volunteers all exclaim about how incredibly and extremely sweet she is. Hacienda loves petting and brushing and just purrs and purrs. She has a beautiful, thick, plush coat that will amaze you with it's softness."
Please adopt her from Nine Lives Foundation, located at 1255 Annette Avenue, Redwood City, CA.  Call 650-368-1365, and ask for Hacienda by name.

Macy - Spayed Female 1 y/o Tortie and White Persian
This beautiful girl was given up when her person moved away, and now she's frightened!  She needs a quiet, loving home, preferable as an only cat.  She might be fine with a quiet cat, but is just afraid of the other foster cats at Rescue right now as she's getting used to her situation.  Please adopt her!  Fostered in Fremont.  E-mail Barbara at Purrfect Cat Rescue, Barbara@PurrfectCatRescue.org .
