Neutered Male Tabby and White Persian

Yikes, he's cute!!  The Rescue person says:

"Paxton is just the sweetest guy and gorgeous.  He was brought to our center in March by a family who had seen him running in the fields and yards behind their house throughout the entire winter.   He was extremely friendly and would come right up to them wanting attention.  He was so dirty and stinky that they didn't want to have anything to do with him at first.  He was persistent though.  Once they saw how sweet he is, they brought him in to our center.  It was hard to tell if he was male or female because he was such a mess of mats.  He was dirty, stinky and full of mats.  We gave him a bath and we found he actually had some white coloring on him.  He was quarantined for a few weeks to ensure he was healthy.  He was neutered and gotten up to date on all medical.  He was given the run of our surgery room and we noticed that on days that other cats came in for surgery, he would urinate and/or defecate outside the box in various locations in the room. He was quarantined in a smaller room and he used his box but there were no other animals around him."

While he is nice to other cats, he seems to be a bit frightened of them and sometimes shows this by peeing outside the box ONLY if other cats are present.  Otherwise, he's perfect!

He is neutered, FIV/FELV neg/neg, vaccinated and microchipped.
